Disturbing Environmental Findings from Internal DWP Reports

We recently uncovered DWP's own site comparison reports dated 2011 confirming many of the environmental concerns the community has raised about the Marquez site.  One report gives the Marquez site an unsatisfactory grade in 6 out of 10 environmental categories evaluated.  Specifically, the Marquez site received a fatally flawed Grade "F" in geology and soils, and an unsatisfactory Grade "D" in potential air quality impacts, transportation impacts, noise impacts, biological impacts and aesthetic impactsOf four sites DWP evaluated around July/August 2011, the Marquez site received the lowest overall environmental scoreFor DWP to say now that Marquez is the ideal and best site would be disingenuous at best and unconscionable at worst.
